Chattooga Indians Varsity was victorious over Darlington, 6-2

Chattooga Indians Varsity got on the board in the first inning when Dexter Brown singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Chattooga Indians Varsity pulled away for good with five runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Zack Tuckersingled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Brennon Whitlock singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run, Caleb Veitch singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run, and Bayln Stephens singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Whitlock led the Chattooga Indians Varsity to victory on the hill. He went five innings, allowing one run on five hits, striking out six and walking one. Brown threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Brown recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Chattooga Indians Varsity.

Bell took the loss for Darlington. He allowed eight hits and six runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out five.

Chattooga Indians Varsity collected nine hits. Whitlockand Clayton Johnson all managed multiple hits for Chattooga Indians Varsity. Johnson and Whitlock each managed two hits to lead Chattooga Indians Varsity.

Darlington tallied eight hits. Campbell and Cloud each managed multiple hits for Darlington. Campbell led Darlington with three hits in four at bats.
