After almost a year of construction and planning, Keurig Green Mountain, who announced that Douglas County will be home to a new manufacturing facility, has begun the search for almost 500 new employees. At its completion, Keurig will have invested over $330 million over the course of five years with its new 585,000-square-foot facility to be located just west of Atlanta. Keurig, known best for its Hot Brewing System that prepares a variety of hot beverages primarily coffees and hot teas, will be teaming-up with Atlanta native, Coca-Cola.
Last February, Coca-Cola and Keurig released information regarding a long-term strategic partnership. Keurig’s development of a new KOLD beverage system is set to be developed and partnered with Coca-Cola’s brand portfolio and distribution network.
Set to debut later this year, the new Keurig KOLD system “is an exciting new multi-brand platform” said Keurig’s President Brian Kelley. Kelley continued to praise the move noting “the Douglas County region offers a diverse and skilled employee base, as well as, many geographic and economic benefits, making it a great location for our new facility.”
Keurig has begun hiring and accepting applications via the Georgia Department of Labor website for quality control technicians, maintenance coordinators, and maintenance technicians. All applicants must be at least 18 years old.More information is available at the Keurig’s website or you can email email@example.com.
Douglas County officials praised the move as evidence of the pro-business environment of both our state and local governments.
